Fencing sculpture La Fleche' - "Res Judicata"  31"w 11"d 19"h(Latin -"the thing has been judged") Bronze with sterling silver fencing foils Limited edition of 30 - Fencing sculptures using bronze figures, Res Judicata, swords, pasa de sotto
"Res Judicata"  31"w 11"d 19"h

(Latin -"the thing has been judged")
Bronze with sterling silver fencing foils
Limited edition of 30

At a single point in time the contest is decided, Res Judicata. A perfect "Passa Di Sotto" (Italian - seems from below) outwits a sadly futile, albeit spunky "Parry of Desperation."

"Passa Di Sotto" is a daring attack performed by dropping to the ground and thrusting upward. "The parry of desperation" or the "jump back" is fairly self explanatory.

Hot chemical patinas create pastel colours on bronze figures with sterling silver fencing foils.
31"w x11"d x19"h.
