English Setter -Cookie

This is actually a portrait sculpture of a fine English setter with a lot of heart.

Using photography and direct observation I created this portrait to express the drama and heart that is Cookie. The greatest compliment I feel I can receive as a sculptor is the emotional response and recognition by the owner of his dog in my work. As you can see she is intense and locked on to her quarry. That passion and heart was an inspiration to capture. I hope I have done it credit.
